Raw vegan chocolate brownies


I think this may have to be one of my favourite recipes to date. Based on Deliciously Ella’s raw brownie recipe, I love it because of its simplicity and quickness. And because they taste amazing – gooey, fudgey chocolate made with just 4 ingredients in a food processor.



100g cashews

250g dates

2 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp maple syrup/agave syrup



1. Blend the cashews in a food processor, then add the dates and blend again.

2. Add the cacao powder, blend, then add the maple syrup.

3. Put the mixture into a lined baking tray and freeze for an hour.

4. Cut into squares and store in the fridge.
